What You Will Do
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures across cloud and hybrid environments
- Define enterprise data models, standards, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and interoperability
- Architect modern data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses) to support analytics, AI, and operational use cases
- Lead client engagements as a trusted advisor on data strategy, architecture, and platform design
- Translate business and policy objectives into structured data solutions and pipelines
- Establish data governance practices including data quality, lineage, cataloguing, and access control
- Design data integration strategies across multiple systems, APIs, and external data sources
- Enable AI and advanced analytics use cases by ensuring data is structured, accessible, and production-ready
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement pipelines, orchestration, and real-time/streaming architectures
- Balance long-term architecture vision with rapid delivery in dynamic environments
Requirements
- 7+ years data architecture with deep Oracle and SQL Server expertise
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter (or equivalent ETL platform)
- Familiarity with Change Data Capture (CDC) for incremental and near real-time sync
- Experience in complex source-to-target mapping across large schema landscapes
- Understanding of bidirectional sync with conflict resolution strategies
- Knowledge of data quality profiling, validation, and reconciliation frameworks
- Experience with data governance, lineage tracking, and metadata cataloguing
Good to Have
- Domain-driven data modelling (database-per-service patterns)
- Experience with Liquibase or equivalent schema change management
- Ability to design physical schema from logical/conceptual model
