This role requires an individual with both technical depth and architectural foresight—someone who can architect scalable, high-performance data ecosystems, lead integration discussions with application owners, and ensure the seamless flow of data across the enterprise landscape. The Data Architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and data engineering teams to define data strategies, govern design standards, and deliver and maintain robust, future-proof data platforms aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

Data Architecture & Platform Design: Architect and implement enterprise data platforms leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Fabric Pipelines, Notebooks, and Power BI.
- Define and maintain end-to-end data architecture blueprints, encompassing ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption layers.
- Establish data modelling standards and design scalable data pipelines integrating diverse data sources.

Enterprise & Application Integrations: Lead discussions for new data source onboarding and ensure interoperability between AI solutions, ERP, CRM, and bespoke applications.

Data Strategy & Governance: Contribute to defining data strategy roadmaps and manage data governance to enforce data quality and compliance frameworks.

Implementation & Delivery: Translate business requirements into technical blueprints and oversee implementation of Fabric-based pipelines and notebooks.

Innovation & Enablement: Champion modern data practices, drive PoCs and integrations for AI/ML-ready data architectures, and evaluate emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 8–12 years of experience in data architecture or enterprise data platform design.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Fabric implementation and strong command of SQL, PySpark, and Python.

Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
