Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement modern data architectures encompassing data foundations, data fabric, and integration with AI systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data models (conceptual, logical, physical) and schema designs for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Lead the design of ETL processes and DataOps workflows ensuring efficient data integration and transformation.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, metadata management, and data quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Mentor and guide team members and other data architects.
- Evaluate and adopt technologies for cloud data platforms and data ecosystems.
- Drive cost optimization and performance tuning of data platforms.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote best practices in data security and access control.
- Lead innovation in data architecture strategies for AI/ML initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience designing and implementing large-scale data architectures.
- Deep expertise in data modeling, ETL framework development, and DataOps.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data lakes, and warehouses.
- Proficiency with integration of data architectures with AI platforms.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with data architecture in financial services or related regulated industries is a plus.
- Arabic language skills are preferred.
