Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and DART to develop solution and technology designs, standards, and architecture runways.
- Work closely with Technology & Architecture groups to ensure proposed solutions align with technology roadmaps and business capabilities.
- Implement architectural standards using the company's Architecture Frameworks and Tools.
- Define and govern the enterprise data architecture including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Design and evolve the enterprise data platform architecture utilizing Databricks and other lakehouse technologies.
- Establish patterns for data ingestion, integration, and pipelines for batch, streaming, and event-driven data processing.
- Architect and govern Customer Data Platforms (CDP) for unifying and activating customer profiles.
- Implement data governance, quality, metadata, lineage, privacy, and secure access standards to enable trusted data products for analytics and business applications.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years in complex IT architecture environments.
- Experience in the airline industry is strongly desirable.
- Proven track record of providing architecture solutions for data warehouses, big data, business intelligence, and data science projects.
- Hands-on data modeling experience; familiarity with airline data (e.g., PNR, TKT) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data concepts including lineage, quality, lifecycle management, reference data management, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in Solution and/or Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe Architect) is mandatory.
