Data Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Architect with 13 to 20 years of experience to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This on-site, full-time role requires expertise in Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog Data Management and Governance Risk & Compliance. The Sr. Architect will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our data management systems, working during day shifts and possibly involving travel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish best practices of data governance, data quality, and Master Data Management for the project.
• Determine architectural requirements, design, and develop the enterprise software architecture for the products being built.
• Assess and determine governance, stewardship, and frameworks for managing data across the organization.
• Develop logical data models by extending conceptual models.
• Review and provide alternative strategies for transactional and analytical systems to effectively share data.
• Evaluate and identify specifications, best practices, integration, and proper use of emerging technologies as they relate to overall software architecture.
• Develop and maintain future state architectures and transition roadmaps that meet enterprise needs, identified during current state architecture analysis and the assessment of gaps and opportunities.

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of IT governance frameworks, concepts, methodologies, and modeling techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies or large data warehousing initiatives.
• Preferably experience in the KSA market and bilingual in English & Arabic.

Skills:

• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive software solutions.
• Extensive background and expertise in developing and managing data technologies and technical operations.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
