Data Architect

The Data Architect will manage data architecture projects and teams, ensuring project objectives and timelines are met. The role requires collaboration with data architects and analysts to implement data solutions, utilizing best practices. Participation in defining data requirements and contributing to the development of data strategies is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage data architecture projects and teams, ensuring project objectives and timelines are met.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to implement data solutions, utilizing best practices.
• Participate in defining data requirements and contributing to the development of data strategies.
• Implement data governance and quality standards to maintain data accuracy.
• Support the development of data roadmaps, ensuring adherence to data standards.
• Assist in mentoring and guiding junior staff in data architecture best practices.
• Contribute to data security initiatives and data compliance efforts.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and issues to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Proven experience in data architecture and management.
• Proficiencies in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and database technologies.
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.

Other Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, CDMP, or similar are a plus.
