As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for developing enterprise data architecture blueprints, models, standards, and integration patterns. Your key accountabilities include:
- Defining canonical models, master data structures, metadata, lineage, and governance principles.
- Leading data integration across various platforms including SAP, Azure/Fabric, Power Platform, AWS, Google Analytics, CRM, ERP, eCommerce, and SaaS systems.
- Providing hands-on leadership for data warehouses, lakehouses, data marts, pipelines, and semantic layers.
- Establishing data governance, security, compliance, retention, and access control frameworks.
- Enabling Business Intelligence (BI), analytics, AI/ML, dashboards, predictive models, and digital use cases.
- Evaluating vendors, platforms, technologies, and integration/governance tools.
- Managing FinOps, licensing governance, cloud/SaaS cost optimization, renewals, and budget control.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in data architecture, SAP/Microsoft platforms, data engineering, SaaS/on-prem integration, analytics, and cost governance.
- Mandatory certifications: At least one SAP certification and one Microsoft/Azure/Fabric certification.
- FinOps certification required or strongly preferred.
- Language Requirements: English required; Arabic preferred.
Technical Competencies:
- Enterprise Data Architecture across SAP, Microsoft, SaaS, cloud, and on-prem environments.
- Expertise in SAP BW/BW4HANA, HANA, Datasphere, and SAC.
- Strong knowledge of Azure, Fabric, ADF, Synapse, SQL Server, and Power BI.
- Skills in integration across SaaS/on-prem using API, ETL/ELT, event-driven, batch, and real-time patterns.
- Advanced data modeling and data governance knowledge.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- SAP Stack: BW/BW4HANA, HANA modeling, Datasphere, SAC, CDS Views, HANA Calc Views, ADSO, InfoObjects, and SAP-non-SAP integration.
- Microsoft Stack: Azure, Fabric, ADF, Synapse, SQL DB, SQL Server, Power BI, Power Platform, Purview, OneLake/Lakehouse.
- Proficiency in architecture tools such as ERwin, PowerDesigner, Sparx EA, Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io.
- Familiarity with Google/Digital Analytics including GA4, Tag Manager, and BigQuery.
