About the Job:
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) seeks a Data Architect to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. As an IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization, TCS has partnered with many of the world’s largest businesses in their transformation journeys for over 50 years. The ideal candidate will design innovative data architectures that leverage cutting-edge technologies and ensure compliance with data governance standards.

Must Have Skills:

• Expertise and Experience in designing Event Driven Architecture.
• Experience with modern Data platforms like Cloudera CDP.
• Experience with Big Data platforms, Data Ingestion, and Streaming.
• Knowledge of modern data architectures like Data Lake and Lake House, in addition to expertise in DWH, DataMart, and ETL.
• Knowledge in Cloudera, Informatica, Teradata, and Denodo.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Understanding of Data Governance and Compliance.
• Awareness of NDMO Framework in Saudi Arabia will be beneficial.
• Exposure to Banking - Domain, Application, and Data Stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teams to collect and translate information requirements into data-centric solutions.
• Ensure that industry-accepted data architecture principles and standards are integrated and followed for modeling, stored procedures, replication, regulations, and security, among other concepts, to meet technical and business goals.
• Continuously improve the quality, consistency, accessibility, and security of data activities across company needs.
• Understand current customer Data Landscape, identify deficiencies, and propose corrective measures or new solutions leveraging best practices and modern technologies.
• Propose a roadmap to migrate the customer's current Data stack to a modern Data Architecture that's fit for AI.
