Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Accountabilities:
- Design and govern enterprise-wide data solutions aligned with business strategy, architecture standards, and technology roadmaps.
- Lead the architecture of modern data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics solutions using Azure technologies.
- Define and promote architecture standards, reusable patterns, governance frameworks, and best practices across the Data Agile Release Train (DART).
- Partner with business, product, engineering, and enterprise architecture teams to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
- Drive data governance capabilities including data quality, lineage, metadata management, reference data management, and lifecycle management.
- Provide architectural leadership across Agile and Waterfall delivery initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and target-state designs.
- Lead a team of data architects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Data or Solution Architecture within complex environments.
- Proven delivery of Data Warehouse, Big Data, BI, Analytics, and Data Science solutions.
- Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, and modern data integration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Data Modelling, Governance, Quality, Lineage, Metadata Management, and Data Security.
- Experience defining architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and cloud transformation strategies.
- Experience within the airline, aviation, travel, or transportation industry preferred, with knowledge of domains such as PNR, Ticketing, Loyalty, Revenue Management, Operations, and Customer Data.
- Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics platforms.
- Architecture certification such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, ArchiMate, Open CA, or equivalent.
