Key Responsibilities:
- Work within Enterprise Data Management (EDM) / Data Architecture and Release Train (DART) to create solutions and technology designs.
- Develop standards and build architecture runways, particularly for Azure-based platforms using services like Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, and Databricks.
- Collaborate closely with Technology & Architecture to ensure solutions align with technology roadmaps, business capabilities, and technology strategy.
- Implement solution and technology architecture standards, governance, and principles using the company Architecture Frameworks and Tools.
- Develop design and implementation of solution architecture in both agile and waterfall delivery frameworks.
- Provide consultation to product and project delivery teams on applying new or existing technologies to support business initiatives.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in complex IT architecture environments, with a strong preference for experience in the airline industry.
- Proven experience delivering architecture solutions for data warehouses, big data, business intelligence, and data science initiatives.
- Hands-on experience in data modeling and familiarity with airline data (e.g., PNR, TKT).
- Knowledge of data lineage, data quality, lifecycle management, reference data management, and metadata management.
- Proficient in building and managing data platforms using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Cosmos DB.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is desirable.
- One or more certifications in Solution and/or Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe Architect) are mandatory.
