Data Architect

Virtusa is looking for a Data Architect to join our rapidly growing team in the Middle East. In this role, you will design and implement scalable database solutions to efficiently manage organizational data. You will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining existing database systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

As a Data Architect, you will develop data pipelines and workflows to enable seamless integration from diverse data sources while creating and enforcing data architecture standards across the organization. This role also involves providing technical leadership for adopting cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align data architecture strategies with business goals is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable database solutions.
• Optimize and maintain existing database systems.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Proficiency in data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes.
• Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
