Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer

The company is looking for a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer to join our expanding Data Centers (DC) Cloud regions. As an Engineering Operations Engineer, you will operate and maintain DCs’ world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure following a process-oriented approach. You will oversee facility operations and ensure the implementation of safety procedures. Key Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture.
• Support electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS’s), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Diesel Generators, HVAC, and more.
• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical, emergency generator, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs and perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine logs.
• Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance.

Work Conditions

• Work rotational shifts of 4 days of 12-hour shifts (2 days followed by 2 nights), and 4 days off (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Respond to on-call rotation reaction to off-duty emergency calls.
• Occasionally move objects/materials (weight limits in accordance with regulations) and work in outdoor weather conditions and noisy environments.
