Position

As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT), you will perform cycle audits, execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors, and document inbound and outbound deliveries. This position will deepen your knowledge of inventory management principles, warranty process management, and data bearing device destruction. The company’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is crucial in delivering the core infrastructure for the company's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Azure. As a DIAT, you will play a key role in this process.

Location: Qatar, Ad-Daw?ah, Doha
Work Conditions:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware devices, including the handling of Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) devices.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate information within various inventory management systems.
  • Ensure detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
  • Help reconcile and report inventory discrepancies.
  • Perform destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) as necessary.
  • Notify management about stock shortages and escalate any issues.
  • Comply with security and data management policies.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma AND experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work shifts, including non-standard hours such as evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, IT, and/or logistics, with experience in operating heavy-load movement equipment.

This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
