As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT), you will play a critical role in the operations of the company's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) sector. Responsibilities
- Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware devices, including information processing, packaging, shipment, and receipt of returns for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) devices according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Leverage process knowledge and best judgment to complete tasks with minimal direct supervision.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate logical information within various inventory management systems (e.g., configuration management databases, asset management repositories).
- Ensure detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
- Help reconcile and report inventory discrepancies.
- Perform destruction of data-bearing devices (DBD) while adhering to all SLAs and company policies as necessary.
- Notify management about stock shortages and escalate any issues.
- Comply with security and data management policies.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma AND experience in warehouse/supply chain operations within an information technology (IT) environment or a related field.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to work shifts, including non-standard hours such as evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Background Check Requirements:
- Must meet company, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, which include the company Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and subsequently every two years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain within an IT environment, IT, and/or logistics, including operation of heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, chassis lifts) for a large corporation.
- OR equivalent experience.
