Data Center Manager

As a Data Center Manager for Oracle Data Centers, you will report to a Data Centre Senior Manager. You will be the technical liaison between the technology teams and the Data Center Environment you run, maintaining all operational aspects for these sites. You will support our growth path as a ‘technical expert’ with a focus on core Data Center infrastructure, troubleshooting and solving all but the most complex infrastructure issues. You will proactively monitor the environments, check monitoring systems, and address issues as needed while collaborating with other groups to maintain the environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits for power and mechanical capacity and oversee changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CA) for issues.
• Liaise with local colocation partners to understand site topology and articulate issues as necessary.
• Ensure rack deliveries and installations are planned and managed effectively.
• Develop and sustain 5S standards on each site under your responsibility.
• Manage and prioritize tasks via internal tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to SOPs.
• Collaborate with project teams and colocation partners for validating electrical and mechanical systems functionality.
• Participate in operational reviews, analyze technical data, and address reliability and availability concerns.
• Coach and mentor other individual contributors across the organization.
• Embrace a Dev Ops mindset, with a desirable ability to code (scripting, SQL, low-code APEX environments).
• Be able to travel, often at short notice, to multiple campuses in the UAE region.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in a relevant IT field.
• Experience with Data Center infrastructure and operational support.

Work Conditions

• This position may require travel to various locations within the UAE.
• Must be adaptable to work on a flexible schedule to meet operational demands.
