Data Center Operations Area Lead

About the Job: This role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship. As a Data Center Operations Area Lead at the company, you will oversee the daily operations of our data centers, leading a large team of electrical, cooling, and controls technicians, plant engineers, facility managers, and program managers. You will ensure the operational health and efficiency of the company's Data Centers, which are pivotal in delivering cutting-edge AI and infrastructure services. In this role, you will develop strategies to minimize operational costs, enhance efficiency, and reduce environmental impact at the site. You will also lead the large-scale electrical and cooling infrastructure operations, manage the development of innovative data center designs, and drive new site initiatives including hiring and team building. We are looking for a candidate with strong technical and leadership abilities who can navigate change effectively and deliver results in a rapidly evolving environment. You will be responsible for your team’s performance and career development, while also defining future processes and systems. Location: Midlothian, TX (On-site) Work Conditions: Full-time Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. - 12 years of experience managing technical teams. - 3 years of experience in managing managers. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in a related engineering field or equivalent practical experience. - Experience collaborating with other business units to achieve company goals. - Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment. - Excellent people management and leadership skills. Compensation: The US base salary range for this position is $206,000-$286,000, in addition to bonuses, equity, and benefits.
