Responsibilities:
- Follow and adhere to safety and security policies and procedures.
- Work on complex IT deployments covering power reservation, rack layout, network compatibility, and physical installation.
- Act as the single point of contact for all data center metro level audit and compliance projects, initiatives, and ongoing operational activities.
- Develop positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Perform regular site inspections for audit readiness and compliance and lead corrective action plans on gaps identified through assessments.
- Spend 25% of your time on the floor ensuring metro-wise standards are maintained within all data centers.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent AND 1+ years industry experience OR 2+ years industry experience and college course work.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in Critical Environment infrastructures or working in physical IT infrastructures.
- Technical college degree in fields such as Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Applicable certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, PMP, ITIL).
