As a Data Center Security Manager (DSM) in the Saudi Cluster, you will provide hands-on support to the Data Center Security team, managing daily operations, executing security projects and programs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the contract guard force for daily data center operations.
- Handle site security incidents, escalations, and other security-related issues.
- Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in emergent, large-scale event response as needed.
- Participate in recurring data center security audits and reviews.
- Execute established compliance processes with company policies, standards, guidelines, and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Provide input on, and develop, security methodologies, policies, and procedures.
- Write reports and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.
- Oversee new security construction or retrofit projects.
- Manage the security P&L for assigned site(s); assist management with financial analysis and contribute to financial decisions for security requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams to protect company Data Center personnel, information, and assets.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of security management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.
- Experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as access control/intrusion detection and CCTV surveillance systems.
- Experience working in a data center or mission-critical facility (e.g., hospital, military facility, public safety facility) or in other critical environments.
- Experience in Incident Management, Threat Management, Corporate Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Crisis Management, or related fields that involve conducting threat assessments, workplace investigations, and incident response.
- Experience with Incident & Emergency response.
- Experience creating or improving SOPs and operational procedures.
- Ability to collaborate across teams with partner groups (engineering, operations, colocation providers).
- Strong cross-cultural communication abilities with experience working across diverse locales and functions.
