Data Center Security Specialist

AWS’ Infrastructure Physical Security Team is looking for a Data Center Security Specialist with experience working in critical infrastructure installations, available for a UAE national with family book. As a Data Center Security Specialist, you will be tasked with driving operational security excellence in a control room setting or in several facilities located within a short driving distance. Your vigilance will drive a culture of quality and support proactive identification of physical security vulnerabilities for remediation.

Key Responsibilities

• Help lead daily operational security as part of a security operations team across multiple facilities
• Drive security awareness campaigns aimed at enhancing security vigilance and effectiveness
• Experience with workflow ticketing and extraction development of performance metrics
• Lead security investigations across campus facilities
• Oversee physical security vendors that provide guards, electronic security systems, door construction/repair, fencing, and access controls
• Distill overarching security strategy into daily tactics to reach management goals
• Oversee security construction projects
• Provide security awareness training to data center personnel

Work Conditions

• Control room setting and multiple facilities within a short driving distance
• Collaboration with security vendors, data center personnel, and other departments across AWS.
