You will interface with and direct security vendors involved in security construction, repairs, daily security operations, patrols, and planning. This position involves extracting metrics and observing improvements based on hard data. You will also recommend security systems improvements, design security protocols, lead security awareness training for data center occupants, and advise leadership on the status of physical security operations.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Help lead daily operational security as part of a security operations team across multiple facilities.
- Drive security awareness campaigns aimed at enhancing security vigilance and effectiveness.
- Experience with workflow ticketing and extraction development of performance metrics.
- Lead security investigations across campus facilities.
- Oversee physical security vendors providing guards, electronic security systems, door construction/repair, fencing, and access controls.
- Oversee security construction projects.
- Provide security awareness training to data center personnel.
- May be tasked with working different shifts including Day, Mid, or Evening/Overnight shifts.
Requirements
- UAE National with family book.
- Experience overseeing security operations.
- Experience working with security vendors and contractors.
- Experience creating process improvement procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher and/or equivalent professional experience in a corporate or government security environment.
- 2+ years experience overseeing security vendors providing guards and electronic security systems.
- 2+ years experience creating and implementing emergency planning programs and physical security countermeasures.
- Familiarity with various Access/Intrusion Control Systems.
