Responsible for effective delivery of hands-on technical support and installations in a cloud infrastructure (OCI) data center. This role includes server hardware and network break-fix tasks, structured cabling installation, rack deployments and decommissioning activities, site planning, problem escalation and performing installations. You will prioritize ticketing queues, resolve incidents and escalations, and clear blocking issues to maintain smooth operations in accordance with internal policies and service level agreements. Additionally, provide 24x7 site coverage for the company OCI data center sites.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- Hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure support, server and network maintenance, and structured cabling in a large-scale mission critical environment
- On-call availability with a valid driving license to reach data center sites within 60 minutes
- Ability to work in cramped spaces and elevated locations
- Strong communication skills for clear interaction in a virtual environment
- Experience providing client-facing, direct customer support and service
- Highly service-oriented, reliable, responsible, and self-motivated
Responsibilities
- Act as Hardware support expert liaison to other technical & non-technical teams (e.g., networking, compute, compliance, business operations)
- Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server and network hardware
- Conduct system board level repair and fault diagnosis within SLAs
- Significant involvement in structured cabling installation
- Plan and commission new whitespaces and rack positions
- Perform rack receiving, installation, and decommissioning activities
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance audits
- Adhere to the company, site-specific, and customer-specific physical security policies and defined health & safety processes
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be a team player
