Position

As a Microsoft Data Center Technician (DCT), you will stage, set up, and perform hardware deployments in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment, along with decommissioning hardware for simple changes and refreshes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. This role will enhance your understanding of Data Center standard processes and procedures while providing opportunities for mentorship and career growth.

You will play a key role in supporting Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I), delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for services such as Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting according to standard procedures, quickly identifying causes of issues.
  • Conduct post-execution quality checks, ensuring proper setup according to safety protocols and deployment standards.
  • Decommission hardware following standard procedures with minimal guidance.
  • Communicate and escalate incidents to appropriate management and specialists.
  • Assist and provide guidance to other technicians.
  • Complete required training aligned to the role and workload.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing information and participating in team meetings.
  • Demonstrate accountability for service quality and user experience.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
  • Experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.

Language Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements upon hire.
