You will also perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment, as well as execute hardware decommissions for simple changes and refreshes, following Standard Operating Procedures. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting, quickly identifying issues and replacing components with minimal disruption.
- Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure safety protocols and deployment standards are met.
- Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes following standard procedures.
- Communicate, report, and escalate incidents to data center operations management and engineering specialists.
- Assist and guide other technicians with challenging tasks.
- Complete required training and observe experienced technicians for hands-on experience.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing information and participating in team meetings.
- Demonstrate pride and accountability for service quality and user experience.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with basic knowledge of computer hardware and components
- 1+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience supporting IT equipment or related technology
- Certifications: CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC)
