Position

As a the company Data Center Technician (DCT), you will stage, set up, and perform hardware deployments. In addition to these responsibilities, you will conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment, as well as perform hardware decommissions for simple changes and refreshes according to Standard Operating Procedures. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting, swiftly identifying issues and replacing faulty components with minimal disruption.
  • Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure setup adheres to safety protocols and deployment standards.
  • Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes following standard procedures.
  • Communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate management and specialists.
  • Assist and guide other technicians in completing complex tasks.
  • Complete required training and gain practical experience through observation.
  • Contribute positively to team dynamics and work actively to support team objectives.
  • Exhibit accountability for service quality and user experience.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with basic knowledge of computer hardware and experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
  • Ability to pass the company Cloud background checks as required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+, Basic Structure Cabling).
