Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures to identify issues and replace faulty components with minimal disruption.
- Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure proper setup of grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling according to safety protocols and planned Network Design Tasks (NDTs).
- Decommission hardware for simple changes (e.g., memory upgrades).
- Communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate management units, Technician Leads, and engineering specialists.
- Assist and provide guidance to other technicians with complex tasks.
- Complete required training aligned to the role and workload and observe experienced technicians for hands-on experience.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through sharing information, participating in team meetings, and maintaining awareness of team members' work.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with basic knowledge of computer hardware and 1+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Ability to meet Microsoft and customer security screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Applicable certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+) and Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
