As a Data Center Technician (DCT), you will stage, set up, and perform hardware deployments. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting, quickly identifying issues and replacing faulty components with minimal disruption.
- Conduct post-execution quality checks, ensuring safety protocols and deployment standards are met.
- Decommission hardware for changes and refreshes as per standard procedures.
- Communicate and escalate incidents to management and engineering specialists.
- Train and guide peers on complex tasks to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.
- Take ownership of service quality, completeness, and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with basic knowledge of computer hardware and components, along with experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Desired: 2+ years of experience supporting IT equipment and applicable certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
- Ability to meet the company's, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
