Position

As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware. You will act as a support expert liaison to other technical and non-technical teams, understanding internal customer problems and providing timely technical solutions. This role requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience, along with experience in IT infrastructure support and server administration.

Work Conditions

  • The position involves being on-call, which requires a valid driving license to reach the Data Center site within 60 minutes.
  • There is a physical component to the job that includes the ability to lift up to 25Kg and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware.
  • Conduct system board-level repair and fault diagnosis to meet service level agreements.
  • Plan and commission new rack positions, including involvement in the design and commissioning of new white spaces.
  • Ensure adherence to defined Health & Safety processes at all times.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Center operations and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of data center design, electrical and cooling plant, and airflow management.
  • Proficient in systems administration (Linux and/or Windows Servers), hardware repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work productively in remote cross-functional teams.
