With your technical expertise, you will ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements, and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical). In this role, you will be part of the team that installs, troubleshoots, and maintains hardware infrastructure for internet-facing environments.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing maintenance and repairs, including servers, networking, and storage devices (e.g., replacing hard drives, RAM, CPU, motherboards).
- Lead troubleshooting and resolving critical or escalated technical issues affecting hardware equipment.
- Contribute to and lead efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of current and new data center servers and network infrastructure.
- Perform active infrastructure upgrades and decommission end-of-life equipment as required.
- Demonstrate the ability to follow the site’s environmental health and safety policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in hardware, networking, operating systems, Linux, or project planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hardware architecture, maintenance, and repair.
- Advanced level Linux skills, including installation, systems administration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of intermediate level Linux and basic topology and protocol.
