Data Center Technician

Oracle is seeking a Data Center Technician who will be responsible for acting as a hardware support expert liaison, installing, monitoring, and maintaining production server hardware, and participating in the design and commissioning of new whitespaces. A significant part of the role involves structured cabling installation. The technician must have a strong knowledge of data center operations, including electrical and cooling systems, airflow management, and expertise in server administration on Linux and/or Windows.

This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience, along with experience in IT Infrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment (200 - 1000+ server systems). On-call availability is required to meet operational demands.

Qualifications:

• Experience providing client-facing support and service
• Strong structured cabling skills on fibre and copper
• Knowledge of systems and hardware, including networking fundamentals and IT hardware concepts
• Ability to communicate clearly and interact professionally with diverse groups

Language Requirements:

• Good command of English (oral & written)
