Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures, quickly identifying causes of issues and replacing faulty components with minimal disruption to customers and business operations.
- Conduct post-execution quality checks, verifying grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling setups according to safety protocols, deployment standards, and planned Network Design Tasks (NDTs).
- Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes (e.g., memory upgrades, rebuilds) following standard procedures with minimal guidance.
- Communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate data center operations management units, Technician Leads, and engineering specialists.
- Assist and provide guidance to other technicians to complete challenging or complex tasks.
- Complete required training linked to the role and workload; observe experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience and relevant on-the-job training.
- Foster a positive and effective team environment by sharing information, contributing to regular meetings, asking questions, and staying updated on others' work statuses.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent along with basic knowledge of computer hardware and components AND experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Ability to work shifts, including assignments during non-standard business hours such as evening, nighttime, weekends, and/or holidays.
Background Check Requirements:
Candidates must meet company, customer, and/or government security screening requirements. This includes the necessity to pass the company Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+) or Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
