Data Center Technician (Saudi National Only), Data Center Operations

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Data Center Operations (DCO) team, responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and hardware for AWS data centers. You will be the primary resolver for your support team, gaining troubleshooting skills in hardware, fiber, networking, and related issues.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and encourage a world-class safety culture
• Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs
• Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations)

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science
• Must have Saudi Arabian citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
