Data Center Technician - UAE National Only

AWS has an exciting opportunity for a Data Center Technician in Dubai, specifically for UAE nationals with a family book. AWS is committed to contributing to the UAE’s goal of employing 75,000 Emiratis in the private sector. As part of the AWS Infrastructure Services team, you'll oversee the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and hardware for AWS data centers. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving datacenter infrastructure issues, including hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. You'll work alongside a diverse team of professionals while fostering a safety culture and ensuring world-class operational standards.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain the highest safety standards, promoting a world-class safety culture.
• Diagnose hardware and network problems and perform physical repairs.
• Troubleshoot issues within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Perform manual handling and lifting of equipment as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
