You will play a crucial role in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting according to established procedures.
- Replace faulty components promptly while minimizing disruption.
- Conduct post-execution quality checks ensuring compliance with safety protocols and deployment standards.
- Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes, following standard procedures.
- Communicate incidents to appropriate management and assist other technicians with complex tasks.
- Engage in required training and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with basic knowledge of computer hardware and 1+ year(s) experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Background Check: Ability to meet Microsoft’s security screening requirements is mandatory.
- Preferred: 2+ years' experience supporting IT equipment or related technology, and certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+) or Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
