Data Centre Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Control Room Operator to join our team in the Oil & Energy industry. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of control systems within the sector. This position involves monitoring, operating, and maintaining control panels, systems, and equipment to regulate and optimize production processes. You will collaborate closely with technicians, engineers, and other team members to achieve operational excellence while adhering to safety guidelines and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate control systems and equipment
• Maintain and optimize production processes
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to ensure operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
• 6-7 years of IT experience with at least 4 years of data centre design, operation, and maintenance experience
• Data centre experience in the HPC field is a plus, including working knowledge in servers, interconnects, cabling, and cooling techniques
• Professional Data Centre certification is a plus (such as CDCP, CDCS, CDCDP)
• Project management certification is a plus (such as PMP or PRINCE 2)
