What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the technical delivery of security systems across design, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute Tier III/IV requirements and international security standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, TIA-942).
- Review and validate security system designs including access control, surveillance, and perimeter protection.
- Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and client security teams.
- Oversee system integration with BMS and other facility management platforms.
- Support testing, commissioning, and operational readiness of all security systems.
- Ensure documentation, training, and handover to operations and security teams.
- Participate in risk assessments and threat modelling exercises.
Requirements
- 10–15 years in security systems engineering or integration, with significant experience in data centers or critical infrastructure.
- Expertise in access control, CCTV, biometric systems, intrusion detection, and system integration.
- Deep understanding of data center security requirements, Tier certification standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong coordination, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Degree in Electrical, Security Systems, or related field. Certifications such as PSP (ASIS), CPP, or equivalent are preferred.
Desired Skills
- Experience with hyperscale data center projects and Tier III/IV certified facilities.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity integration and physical security convergence.
- Ability to manage multi-vendor environments and complex system interfaces.
