Data Classification Consultant

About the Job
We are seeking a Data Classification Consultant to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with proven experience in data classification, categorization, and implementation within a business environment. This role focuses on effectively mapping physical attributes to logical data attributes, especially within the telecommunications sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing data classification frameworks and ensuring alignment with regulatory authority requirements.
• Proficiency in understanding privacy domains as related to the telecom industry, including categorization in accordance with GPD, SPD, TSPD, and SCPD.
• Identifying and implementing critical data elements (CDEs).
• Developing and managing data governance policies along with guidance notes and templates.
• Utilizing tools such as Informatica Data Governance and Collibra is a plus.
• Fostering collaboration with stakeholders and managing client relationships to ensure project success.

The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, possess the ability to adapt to various project landscapes efficiently, and have a strong telecom background. Experience in conducting workshops and training is highly desirable.

Successful candidates will be organized, structured, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively while maintaining a documented audit trail. A future-oriented mindset in proposing solutions to complex requirements is essential.
