Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at the company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will help build and maintain data pipelines and integration processes. You will be responsible for supporting data quality checks, investigating, and fixing any data issues, while also working with data catalogs and metadata tools to enhance data accessibility. Collaborating with business teams to understand their data needs and delivering effective solutions will also be a key part of your role. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply data governance practices, including privacy and compliance requirements.
• Assist with documenting data flows and keeping records up to date.
• Explore new tools, technologies, and best practices in the data field.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of database functionality, with experience in SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to data concepts such as ETL, data warehouses, or data modeling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle technical challenges.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Eagerness to learn and grow; curiosity and initiative are essential.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Informatica, or Talend would be beneficial.
• A basic understanding of data governance or data privacy concepts.
