Job Description
Denodo is seeking a passionate and technically skilled Data Engineer to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you will consult, develop, train, and troubleshoot to enhance our clients' experience with Data Virtualization. Your mission will be to facilitate the adoption and productive use of Denodo solutions.

As a key point of contact for our clients, you will utilize your technical expertise and client management skills to conduct both on-site and remote consulting, product implementation, and solutions development. This position requires a balance of direct client engagement and technical skill to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain a strong knowledge of the Denodo Platform, delivering compelling technical pitches that highlight features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
• Stay up-to-date with modern technologies and continuously learn new tools and practices.
• Address technical inquiries regarding customization, integration, enterprise architecture, and product features.
• Build and lead the development of custom deployments tailored to client requirements.
• Provide timely, prioritized feedback to various teams about client needs and challenges.
• Train and engage clients on the architecture, configuration, and utilization of the Denodo Platform.
• Promote best practices while managing deliverables and client expectations.
• Establish credibility with clients and build strong partnerships with stakeholders.
• Provide technical consulting, training, and support.
• Create documentation, presentations, and training materials on relevant topics.

Desired Skills & Experience

• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar position, preferably in data management or analytics software industries.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational/analytical database management concepts.
• Experience with Java software development, particularly in web and database domains.
• Proficiency in JDBC, XML, and Web Services APIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in both Arabic and English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and a continuous learning attitude.
• A creative mindset with a collaborative spirit is essential.

Non-Mandatory Skills (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with version control systems like GIT.
• Experience with Big Data and/or NoSQL environments such as Hadoop or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of caching technologies such as JCS.
• Experience with Windows and Linux (or UNIX) server environments.
• Involvement in business software implementation and integration projects.
• Industry experience in supporting essential software components.
