As a Data Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes utilizing Informatica Big Data Management (BDM) 10.2.X. You will be involved in developing dynamic mapping use cases and deploying complex data sources, including unstructured and NoSQL data. A strong understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem, Hive database management, and SQL/PLSQL is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Informatica BDM for ETL processes, particularly with various Push down modes using Spark, Blaze, and Hive execution engines.
- Development and deployment of dynamic mapping use cases.
- Transform and load complex data source types, including unstructured and NoSQL data.
- Manage Hive databases including DDL, partitioning, and query language.
- Write and maintain functional specification documents and design documents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Informatica BDM.
- Strong SQL/PLSQL skills and experience with Oracle/Sybase/SQL databases.
- Knowledge of Data Lake and Dimensional data modeling.
- Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystems, including HDFS, Spark, and Hive.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
