DATA ENGINEER

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines to process data from multiple sources, supporting both real-time and batch data requirements. This role involves a strong collaboration with various teams, including Corporate IT, to ensure that data handling processes align with business needs and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for processing information from multiple sources.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Integrate data from various sources, including third-party systems and ERP data, ensuring seamless connectivity with Corporate IT infrastructure.
• Assist in establishing data validation and monitoring tools to uphold data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the platform.
• Support the Senior Data Architect in creating scalable data models and optimizing pipeline performance.
• Create and maintain documentation for data flows, transformations, and processes to ensure transparency and compliance with corporate standards.
• Identify opportunities to enhance pipeline efficiency and reduce latency, particularly for real-time data applications.
• Perform data analysis and reporting to aid in operational decision-making and optimize performance.
• Ensure that data processes and pipelines comply with Corporate IT’s data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and implement new technologies to enhance data infrastructure.
• Provide mentorship and support to Junior Data Engineers.
