Data Engineer

We are a leading employer in the AI solutions sector, publicly listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves working with complex data sources to deliver business insights and integrate data into our AI platform. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi (relocation costs covered) and travel frequently to client sites across the GCC and the US, with trips lasting a few days to a week. Travel and relocation are non-negotiable requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy ETL/ELT processes using Python, SQL, and cloud tools.
• Perform web crawling, data cleaning, and annotation to support data ingestion.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for business insights.
• Optimize queries and architectures for data platforms (data lakes, warehouses).
• Travel to client sites in the GCC and US to support project delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of programming experience (Python, Shell, Java).
• Strong English communication skills for corporate and client interactions.
• Valid travel documentation for visa-free travel to GCC and US.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi and travel frequently (non-negotiable).
