The Data Engineer will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures. This role also involves contributing to the development and deployment of AI scoring engines and predictive models to support advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Design & Development: Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to process large volumes of both structured and unstructured data.
- Data Modeling & Architecture: Design and implement data models optimized for analytics and machine learning decision-making.
- Data Governance & Security: Ensure data quality and security by implementing governance frameworks and utilizing tools like Microsoft Purview.
- AI/ML Data Integration: Collaborate with data scientists to integrate data pipelines with machine learning workflows.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance data pipeline performance for high availability and cost efficiency.
Additional responsibilities may include building AI scoring engines, preparing data for machine learning models, contributing to predictive model development, and implementing MLOps pipelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 6–10 years in data engineering, with at least 4 years focused on AI/ML model development.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Data Platform technologies, Python, SQL, and AI/ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
- Certifications: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Fabric Certification.
