Data Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data practitioner needs and deliver solutions at scale.
• Define, build, and maintain the Data Platform.
• Develop distributed applications using emerging technologies.
• Own end-to-end development to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
• Contribute to Data Discovery, Data Lineage, and Data Quality initiatives.
• Build robust data systems, pipelines, and analytical tools.
• Perform complex data analysis and present actionable insights.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong expertise in data modeling, ingestion, ETL, data warehousing, and distributed processing.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Spark Streaming.
• Experience working with MongoDB, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Kafka topics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Databricks.
• Ability to build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Experience optimizing Databricks clusters and writing performance-efficient code.
• Strong pipeline monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement experience.
• Familiarity with Kibana, QlikView, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
