Data Engineer

The Data Engineer will manage and execute data engineering projects and tasks, ensuring they meet project objectives. Responsibilities include: - Collaborating with other teams to gather and understand data requirements. - Developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and security. - Providing technical guidance and support to team members when needed. - Contributing to the data engineering strategy and ensuring it aligns with the overall business goals. - Monitoring and optimizing data processes for performance and efficiency. - Assisting in the evaluation and implementation of new data technologies. - Promoting collaboration, learning, and best practices within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in data engineering
• Proficiencies in data engineering tools and technologies
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Hortonworks Certified Data Engineer, are a plus
