Data Engineer (Real-Time Stream Framework)

We have an immediate opportunity for a Data Engineer (Real-Time Stream Framework) with 7+ years of experience at Synechron in Dubai. The Data Engineer will focus on software development using Java, particularly in the microservices domain, and will have exposure to Kafka for event processing and familiarity with CI/CD processes. Knowledge of streaming frameworks such as Spark, Beam, or Flink is essential.

Job Description:
The Data Engineer should have the following qualifications and responsibilities:

• Education: Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Technical Skills:
  • 7+ years of experience in software development using Java (Core Java, preferably in microservices domain)
  • Proficiency in software engineering SDLC process
  • Exposure to Kafka backend with event processing experience
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes
  • Exposure to any streaming frameworks like Spark, Beam, or Flink
• Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Developing and implementing software solutions using Java for microservices
  • Working with Kafka backend for event processing
  • Utilizing streaming frameworks for real-time data processing

Qualifications & Soft Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in software development using Java, proficiency in microservices, and experience with Kafka backend and event processing. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential.
