Qualifications & Experience Required
- 3+ years of experience with the following tools: SAS Management Console, SAS DI, SAS Enterprise Guide, Base SAS, SAS Web Report Studio, SAS Delivery Portal, SAS OLAP Cube Studio, SAS Information Maps, SAS BI, SAS Stored Process, SAS Datasets & Library.
- Experience configuring/installing applications in servers (Windows/Linux/Unix), along with basic knowledge of DNS, Ports, and Firewalls.
- Proven experience managing and developing distributed systems and clusters for batch and streaming data (Hadoop/Spark and/or Kafka/Flink).
- Expertise in handling semi-structured data sets (e.g., JSON, XML) and proficiency in C# or Java.
- Familiarity with Banking and Finance, Financial Accounting, and Reporting Environments.
- Proficient in writing advanced SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, and functions, along with ETL tools like SAS DI/SAS Enterprise Guide and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of Financial Reporting (Balance Sheet/Profit and Loss) and Risk Reporting.
- Experience in database development specifically within Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle (minimum of 3+ years required).
Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss), aligning it with the company’s goals and financial position.
- Construct Stored procedures and ETL Jobs to reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Engage in data warehouse design, relational database management systems, and database design solutions.
- Develop SQL Server T-SQL procedures/functions for batch processing and reporting based on user requirements.
- Build SAS EG and SAS DI jobs.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data, manage the month-end closing process.
