Data Governance Business Analyst - NDMO

About the Job:

The Data Governance Business Analyst will support business engagements for data ownership and stewardship identification with banking domain knowledge. Key responsibilities include developing end-to-end domain mapping, structuring, and tagging Critical Data Elements (CDE) to respective domains to obtain necessary sign-offs from business stakeholders.

The role involves operationalizing data governance models, which include defining roles, responsibilities, and workflows, while participating in cross-functional governance councils and working groups. Daily status calls will be conducted to fulfill project-specific data governance requirements. Additional support includes data literacy initiatives, governance activities, and project management tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identification and formalization of Critical Data Elements (CDEs).
• Implementation of stewardship models by mapping domain owners and stewards to relevant datasets.
• Enforcement of data ownership and accountability structures.
• Engagement support between business and IT on domain structure and system mapping to understand data ownership and management across various business areas.
• Validation support for data quality dashboards, including data quality rules, metadata definitions, and business validation.
• Operationalizing working group forums.
