Data Governance Business Analyst - NDMO

About the Job:
The Data Governance Business Analyst - NDMO role involves interpreting and applying NDMO guidelines, including data classification. Key responsibilities include:

• Re-validating evidence gathered for P1 & P2 NDMO controls and updating as applicable.
• Supporting the implementation and validation of P3 NDMO Controls.
• Performing compliance assessments using the CAST tool to identify and update all NDMO controls against evidence gathered and reviewed.
• Ensuring organizational data practices comply with national standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting the review and enforcement of data governance policies, standards, and procedures across business units.
• Coordinating with risk, compliance, and business teams to ensure governance alignment.
• Acting as a liaison between the business and the Data Governance Office (DGO) team.
• Facilitating training and onboarding for data stewards and owners across departments.
• Enforcing data ownership and accountability structures.
• Engaging with business units to identify data ownership and develop domain mapping structures with sign-offs.
