About the Role
The role holder is responsible for supporting the implementation and enhancement of Specialized’s data governance practices, including data architecture, data classification, lifecycle management, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and open data activities. The role ensures alignment with NDMO and PDPL requirements, internal governance standards, and the company data management directives while contributing to data quality, privacy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. The role holder shall carry out their duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Functional Accountability

  • Support the development and maintenance of Specialized’s enterprise data architecture in alignment with business objectives and the company data management standards.
  • Monitor and track KPIs related to NDMO and PDPL domain maturity, identifying gaps and supporting required improvement actions.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework, policies, and controls.
  • Implement data governance policies, standards, and guidelines in alignment with the company directives and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain data governance policies, procedures, and related documentation within centralized repositories to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support the implementation of data classification and lifecycle management practices covering data retention, archival, and secure disposal.
  • Execute and coordinate open data management activities, including dataset identification, preparation, publication, and periodic updates.
  • Conduct quality reviews of published open data and associated metadata to ensure accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
  • Monitor open data activities and apply appropriate privacy and data protection controls to ensure alignment with national data classification and privacy requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support open data publication priorities and ensure alignment with organizational transparency objectives.
  • Support data governance and open data awareness initiatives in coordination with relevant stakeholders and the Data Governance Council.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data governance practices based on regulatory developments, operational needs, and recognized best practices.

  • Bachelor's Degree

Years of Experience

  • 1-3 Years

Most Preferred Education Field

  • Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Management, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Business Language Skills

  • English language proficiency level is fluent.
