Data Governance Lead

The Data Governance Lead will oversee the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the company's data governance framework. This role is crucial to ensuring data is managed as a valuable asset, working closely with various teams to enhance data ownership, quality, and governance standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve data governance policies and standards.
• Maintain data ownership and accountability models across teams.
• Monitor data governance KPIs and maturity indicators.
• Drive data governance practices and oversee data quality monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (SAMA, PDPL, PCI-DSS).
• Lead internal audits and regulatory inspections.

Your Expertise:

• 2-5 years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management, preferably in fintech or banking.
• Strong understanding of data ownership, metadata management, and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in analytical tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• University degree in Information Management or related field.
• Professional certifications (CDMP, COBIT, CIPP).
• Previous experience in leading data governance programs.
